Anzaran is a time-series database written in Zig: one small binary that ingests line protocol, answers SQL-like ZQL queries, tiers cold data to S3-compatible object storage, and replicates across three nodes with Raft.
Anzaran is built and maintained by a small independent team. Everything on this site — the benchmarks, the pricing, the documentation — is published by the maintainers, and the address below reaches them directly. There is no sales organisation behind it: the price list is on the pricing section and the license terms are on the license page.
Every figure on the home page comes from a run we can reproduce, and the method is published next to the numbers rather than in a footnote nobody reads:
The numbers on this site are refreshed as a set: when one moves, the whole table is re-run and re-published with its date. See the benchmark section for the current results and their methodology note.
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and collects no personal data (privacy). The database sends us no telemetry — it runs entirely on your infrastructure. We publish no customer logos, no ratings and no testimonials we cannot substantiate.
